Make money and do good for the environment at the same time – not possible? Think again.
A lot of us have unused or old mobile phones lying around our household doing nothing. What use are these? More worryingly, in the UK we throw 20 million phones into landfill. That’s right – a total of 20 million mobiles. According to www.wasteonline.org.uk, these will take 1,000 years to breakdown. Therefore by throwing mobile phones away we are doing no good for our environment.
But regardless of whether your unused or old mobile phone is sitting in a drawer somewhere or you are thinking of throwing it in a bin – there is solution. The last few years has seen the emergence of mobile phone recyclers, these are retailers which will recycle your unused or old mobile phone and PAY YOU money.
That’s right – as if recycling your mobile phone wasn’t a good enough cause anyway (as opposed to doing nothing with it or throwing it away) you can now get cash for your mobile phones which are no longer of use to you. It really is a win-win situation. All you have to do with these retailers is get a quote, and send your mobile phone in a normally prepaid envelope. That’s it – you will normally receive your money that you were offered in your quote.

However there are many websites out there that will compare quotes from all these retailers and show you who is offering the most money for that particular mobile phone. You can literally therefore sell your mobile phone for cash.
There really is no downside to recycling your mobile phone – and if you have any you were thinking of throwing away or are not using (and have no intention of using) then I would strongly suggest you get cash for your mobile and get it recycled!
