The 7 Mozart is the new Windows seven phone from HTC. The phone designers have used both plastic and aluminum parts to give it a spectacular design. In the front the 7 Mozart has a basic look with most of the area occupied by its large screen but the back has a unique design. The HTC 7 Mozart weighs around 130 grams in total.

The 7 Mozart features a 3.7” screen of S-LCD nature but we have seen larger screen sizes in other Windows phones. Overall the screen is good and displays images and texts clearly. The device also has high sunlight legibility. Being capacitive in nature, the touch sensitivity of its display is also silky smooth and precise. HTC has also provided proximity and ambient sensors on top of its S-LCD display.

The 7 Mozart comes loaded with an 8MP imaging camera with facility of Xenon flash. It also has autofocus feature to capture images of objects at closer distance. The camera looks good only on paper and will fail to impress you with its poor picture quality. The User interface is also very standard and it seems like HTC forgot to add a shutter in front of its lens. The video camera is much better if compared to its still camera and supports QVGA, VGA and HD formats to record videos.

The Windows 7 OS installed in 7 Mozart still needs some changes to improve the phone’s performance. There are some additional applications and games available which makes the 7 Mozart a bit entertaining. Xbox live is one of them which allows you to download and play a variety of games.

In terms of connectivity 7 Mozart has almost everything namely; Wi-Fi, microUSB, and 3G. It also has GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as the much loved Bluetooth. The file transfer from a computer is possible only through the Microsoft Zune application. The web browser of 7 Mozart does not open Flash and SilverLight content.
