The latest in the range of HTC products, Desire HD, was finally introduced in the month of October. Based on the android platform, Desire HD bears a level of similarity to the old HTC Desire, and has a unibody design. The perfectly finished body of Desire HD gives it a beautiful look, while also making handling easier. The ease of use guaranteed by HTC Desire is made possible by the HTC Sense and Android Froyo 2.2 that power it.
Desire HD has a 4.3″ LCD touchscreen. But, when the screen of this device is examined side by side with retina displays or AMOLED capacitive displays, it is noticed to be of lower quality. However, that is not to say that the quality is all that bad as it also works perfectly when used in the sun. Desire HD’s screen also has a highly sensitive touch input. The display may not be all that great, but it is better that most other displays.
The Android User Interface used on Desire HD makes it very easy to use, while also allowing for multitasking. The device makes use of the most recent Android Froyo v2.2 UI, and has Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 1 GHz processor. The booting time of the user interface on Desire HD is much less to those of similar devices.
There is also a 3264×2448 pixels image resolution, 8 MP camera that has dual LED flash. As expected of any android device, the camera on Desire HD is highly interactive, and it also has other features like face detection, geo-tagging and touch focus. HD videos (720p) having 25 fps frame rate can also be captured with the video camera.
The speed of Desire HD’s processor is also reflected in browsing experience on the web browser. Double-tap zooming and Flash 10.1 features are also provided on the browser. It is quite obvious that HTC Desire HD is one great device.
We hope you enjoyed our review of the HTC Desire HD.
